MINUTE entry before the Honorable Andrea R. Wood: Plaintiff's motion for an extension of time 124 is granted. Plaintiff's response to Defendant's Rule 59 motion for a new trial or to alter or amend the judgment 125 will be treated as timely filed. Nonetheless, as Defendant points out in his motion to strike that response 126 , Plaintiff, without leave of the Court, filed a response brief that exceeds the already enlarged 25-page limit by 4 pages. In addition, the response brief contains neither a table of contents nor a table authorities, both of which are required for briefs exceeding 15 pages under Local Rule 7.1. The Court cautions Plaintiff that continued failure to follow the Local Rules may result in filings being stricken or summarily denied. For present purposes, the Court grants in part and denies in part Defendant's motion to strike Plaintiff's response 126 as follows. The Court will allow Plaintiff to file its 29-page response but it must refile that brief with both a table of contents and table of authorities by 6/11/2026. Defendant shall then file his reply by 6/18/2026. The in-court status hearing set for 6/5/2026 is stricken and reset for 7/16/2026 at 1:30 PM. Mailed notice (aw,) (Entered: 06/04/2026)
