MINUTE entry before the Honorable Lindsay C. Jenkins: The August 18, 2026, initial status hearing is stricken. The court imposes the following fact discovery schedule: Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures are due by August 25, 2026; written discovery has already issued; any amendments to the pleadings must be sought by December 11, 2026 (this date has been modified from what the parties proposed because an amendment should be sought long before the close of fact discovery); all fact discovery shall be noticed in time for completion by May 28, 2027. A status report that updates the court on whether fact discovery can close on time is due by March 12, 2027. The court will impose an expert discovery schedule closer to the close of fact discovery. If at any time the parties wish to request a settlement conference before the assigned magistrate judge, they can jointly email the courtroom deputy for a settlement referral. Mailed notice.
