MINUTE ENTRY AND ORDER: A Status Conference was held by telephone before Magistrate Judge Peggy Kuo on October 2, 2026. Carmen Caruso, Esq. and William Whitner, Esq. appeared on behalf of Plaintiffs. Plaintiff George R. Michell was present along with Larisa Michell and Tyrone Davis. Matthew Warren was also present as an observer. David Doyle, Esq. and Gia Colunga, Esq. appeared on behalf of Defendants.
The parties were heard on the discovery scheduling disputes raised in 114 . For the reasons stated on the record, the close of fact discovery is extended to March 1, 2027. Defendants are directed to file their request for a pre-motion conference for their anticipated motion to dismiss the Second Amended Complaint within seven (7) days of a ruling on the pending 106 Motion to Amend.
The Court granted Defendants' request to take the depositions of George Michell and Tyrone Davis after resolution of Defendants' anticipated motion to dismiss. These depositions may take place after the close of fact discovery.
