Order on Motion for Extension of Time
PAPERLESS ORDER. THIS CAUSE came before the Court upon the Joint Motion for Extension of Discovery Deadline filed by Defendant/Third-Party Plaintiff Luv Car Wash Group, LLC ("Luv Car Wash") and Third-Party Defendant Rinsed, Inc. ("Rinsed") (collectively, "Movants"). 38 . Therein, Movants seek a thirty (30) day extension of the discovery deadline to November 15, 2026. Id. at 2. In support thereof, Movants contend that "[b]ecause of its recent joinder, Rinsed... has not had adequate time to conduct written discovery, document exchange, and depositions necessary to defend the claims against it." Id. Additionally, Movants contend that they are "actively engaged in settlement discussions, and a mediation conference is scheduled for November 3, 2026." Id. Movants thus assert that the requested extension "will allow Rinsed a fair opportunity to participate in discovery, and will permit the Parties to complete any remaining discovery necessary to resolve or prepare the third-party claims for trial if mediation is unsuccessful." Id. Importantly, Movants "do not seek a continuance of the trial date, calendar call, or pretrial conference[.]" Id. Plaintiff Sancruzado does not oppose the requested relief. Id. at 5. Accordingly, UPON CONSIDERATION of the Motion, the pertinent portions of the record, and being otherwise fully advised in the premises, it is hereby ORDERED AND ADJUDGED that the Motion 38 is GRANTED.
