MINUTE entry before the Honorable Daniel P. McLaughlin: Video status hearing held 5/19/26. The Court discussed how to proceed with discovery in this action. Due to the unusual posture of this ERISA matter, the parties agreed that Plaintiff will produce to Defendant the documentation he received from the insurer in related litigation. The parties represented that they would work together to seek any additional documentation from the insurer. The parties also reported that they are exploring the possibility of settlement in this matter. Accordingly, the Court sets this case for an additional video status hearing before Judge McLaughlin on 6/23/26 at 10:00 a.m. on the Webex platform. Participants are expected to be on video. The parties may join the hearing by utilizing the link: https://us-courts.webex.com/meet/daniel_p_mclaughlin. If any disagreements arise about how to proceed with the case in advance of the next status hearing, the parties are directed to file a joint status report by 6/18/26 informing the Court of any such disagreements; if the parties are in agreement and have no disputes to raise with the Court at the next hearing, then no joint status report need be filed.
