ORDER: Defendants' motion 32 for a pre-motion conference in anticipation of filing a motion to strike Plaintiff's Amended Complaint is DENIED. A plaintiff may amend her complaint as of right "21 days after service of a responsive pleading or 21 days after service of a motion under Rule 12(b), (e), or (f), whichever is earlier." Fed. R. Civ. P. 15(a)(1)(B). Here, Plaintiff filed his original complaint 1 on March 18, 2024. The then-named Defendants (excluding Defendants Yamany's Inc. and Naser Saleh) did not file any responsive pleading prior to Plaintiff filing his Amended Complaint 31 on June 23, 2026.
