MINUTE entry before the Honorable Manish S. Shah: In connection with Edelson PC's motion to withdraw, counsel identified a list of cases from which Edelson PC, Rainer Slania LLC, and Pierson Ferdinand LLP seek to withdraw. [510-2] at 3. Of those cases, several plaintiffs have new counsel and the clerk's office is processing pro se appearances for two cases (Blunt, 19-1031, and Beard, 21-3744). But in seven cases, new counsel has not entered appearances and plaintiffs have not submitted pro se appearance forms. Those plaintiffs were warned that failure to secure new counsel or enter a pro se appearance would lead to dismissals for want of prosecution. The following cases are dismissed with prejudice for want of prosecution: 19-cv-2089 (Garay), 16-9485 (Mazzeri), 17-4977 (Buford), 19-2098 (DiValentino), 20-5588 (McCurdy), 19-3633 (Banks). The clerk shall enter judgment and terminate each case. If no attorney or pro se appearance is entered in 21-2050 (Canale II) by 7/22/26, that case will be dismissed with prejudice for want of prosecution. The motion to withdraw 510 is granted, except as to Canale II. A joint status report on settlement of the remaining Edelson PC cases (which include the cases listed at [549-2] at 2), as well as Mason (16-10965), Thompson (21-4944), Doughty (14-199) is due 7/28/26.
