Order on Motion for Extension of Discovery & PTO Deadlines
ORDER: The Court is in receipt of defendant's motion for extension of time, ECF 45 . The Court finds that the reason for delay was carelessness, defendant's conduct was not in bad faith and because the extension is minor there is little prejudice to plaintiffs. Considering all the circumstances, there is sufficient cause for an extension of time. See Washington v. Ryan, 833 F.3d 1087, 1099 (9th Cir. 2016) (holding that a calendaring mistake is good cause for extension of time). Therefore, defendant's motion is GRANTED in part. Rebuttal expert disclosures are now due August 27, 2026. Expert discovery now closes September 10, 2026. Defendant's request to extend the dispositive motion deadline is DENIED as moot.
