Settlement Conference
Minutes of proceedings [non-document] Settlement Conference held by video conference on July 13, 2026 before Magistrate Judge Darrell A. Clay. Plaintiff C.S. appeared and was represented by her attorneys Ryan McGraw and Veronica Hubbard. Defendants Stay Inn and Matruka Enterprises, LLC appeared through their authorized representative Shubham Gajjar and were represented by their attorney Mark Smith. Extensive discussions were had with the parties and all counsel, with some progress made toward a potential resolution of this matter. However, the parties determined that further information exchanges were necessary before settlement discussions could meaningfully progress. Accordingly, the parties agreed to proceed with those information exchanges and I will hold a status conference with their counsel on September 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM by video conference. Instructions for accessing the video conference will be provided shortly in advance of the conference. Counsel are directed to contact Judge Knepp's chambers promptly to provide a status update and discuss potential adjustment of the case management schedule. Time: 2 hours, 30 minutes. (R,Ke)
