MINUTE ORDER: After the deadline set in the 30 Pretrial Scheduling Order for the parties to file motions in limine had passed, Plaintiff filed a 31 Motion for Leave to File a Motion in Limine. But Plaintiff makes no effort to show "excusable neglect," Fed. R. Civ. P. 6(b)(1)(B), that would justify his late filing. Therefore, it is hereby ORDERED that Plaintiff's 31 Motion for Leave to File is DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE. It is further ORDERED that Defendant need not respond to Plaintiff's 32 Proposed Motion in Limine, pending any further motion Plaintiff may file. It is further ORDERED that Plaintiff shall, in advance of filing any such motion, comply with Local Civil Rule 7(m) and make a good-faith effort to determine whether there is any opposition to the relief sought.
