The parties shall issue their first written discovery requests by 8/26/26. Rule 26(a)(2)(C) summaries, if applicable, shall be served 12/18/26. The deadline to amend pleadings or join parties is 1/15/27. Fact discovery will close 2/25/27. Regarding retained experts, the Court will not set an expert discovery schedule at this time. On 12/18/26, the parties are to file a joint status report that discloses whether they will be relying on retained experts, and if so, the general subject matters of the opinions. Specific opinions and expert names need not be disclosed at that time. A joint status report will be due 10/21/26, containing an update on discovery and confirmation that counsel has discussed settlement with their clients and each other.
