MINUTE ORDER. This matter is before the Court on a telephonic inquiry from Plaintiff's counsel's office concerning the status of Plaintiff's Renewed Motion for Clerk's Entry of Default Judgment for Sum Certain [# 44 ], which was filed on December 12, 2025. While the Court does not prohibit inquiries about the status of pending motions, the Court prohibits haughty, unprofessional interactions with Court staff. D.C.COLO.MJ § II states, "When contacting Chambers directly,... you are speaking with a professionaland in the case of law clerks, you are speaking with a lawyer. Please conduct all communications with the appropriate level of professionalism, and please instruct your staff to do the same." While the Court understands counsel's and Plaintiff's frustration resulting from the Renewed Motion's pending status, rude and unprofessional communications will not facilitate this matter's faster resolution. The District of Colorado is facing a historic increase in the number of cases. The Court is highly aware of the Renewed Motion [# 44 ] and will adjudicate it as soon as practicable.
