Order on Motion for Extension of Time to Complete Discovery ~Util - Set/Reset Deadlines/Hearings
TEXT ORDER: Plaintiff's 58 Agreed Motion for Extension of Time to Complete Discovery is GRANTED. Under Fed. R. Civ. P. 16(b)(4), a scheduling order "may be modified only for good cause and with the judge's consent." Plaintiff's counsel explains that she has experienced health issues that have delayed the discovery in this case, but that her health has improved. To that end, she requests an extension of both the discovery and dispositive motion deadlines. The Court thus finds good cause for the extension. The close of discovery is now November 10, 2026; Dispositive motions are now due December 7, 2026. In addition, the Final Pretrial Conference is now set for March 2, 2027, at 1:00 PM and Jury Trial is now set for April 26, 2027, at 8:45 AM, BOTH in Courtroom B in Peoria before Judge Michael M.
