MINUTE entry before the Honorable Keri L. Holleb Hotaling: The Court will address Plaintiff's unopposed motion for extension of time to complete several fact discovery depositions [Dkt. 75] at the 9/22/2026 telephonic status hearing. The FIRM fact discovery deadline of 9/21/2026 remains set at this juncture, and the Court notes it has already been clear that this date "will not be extended again." [See Dkt. 72.] The parties shall come to the 9/22/2026 hearing with FIRM dates for any remaining depositions for the Court to even consider extending fact discovery a second time. The Court also orders the parties to file a joint status report by 9/18/2026 detailing the depositions taken in this matter and the dates on which they occurred. (rbf, ) (Entered: 09/15/2026)
MINUTE entry before the Honorable Keri L. Holleb Hotaling: Telephonic status hearing held on 7/28/2026 and continued to 9/22/2026 at 10:00 a.m. The parties should be prepared to propose an expert discovery schedule if one is necessary; the parties should also be prepared to discuss whether they are interested in a settlement conference at that juncture. The call in information is 855-244-8681, and the participant access code is 2315 0911 461#. Members of the public and media will be able to call in to listen to this hearing but will be placed on mute. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings. Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court. Additionally, persons are to place their devices on mute when they are not speaking. Any motions the parties wish to be heard at the status must be filed at least 7 days prior to the status date. The parties should keep in mind that Judge Holleb Hotaling's schedule typically is booked 2-3 months out from present with regards to settlement conferences, so the parties should notify Judge Holleb Hotaling's chambers as soon as possible once they realize they want a settlement conference; they do not need to wait for the next status date.
