   ORDER: The Court is in receipt of Plaintiffs' affidavits of service, ECF 12, 13, 14, indicating that Defendants United States of America and USPS were served via delivery of the summons and complaint to a person authorized to accept service at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York on 5/12/2026. Plaintiffs are respectfully reminded that Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(i)(1) states: "To serve the United States, a party must... send a copy of [the summons and complaint] by registered or certified mail to the Attorney General of the United States at Washington, D.C." Further, Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(i)(2) states: "To serve a United States agency or corporation, or a United States officer or employee sued only in an official capacity, a party must serve the United States and also send a copy of the summons and of the complaint by registered or certified mail to the agency, corporation, officer, or employee" (emphasis added). Plaintiffs are reminded that the deadline to perfect service on Defendants is 9/4/2026. Plaintiffs are directed to provide a copy of this order to all Defendants and file proof of same by 9/4/2026.
