Order
ENDORSED ORDER striking the joint notice of mediation. (Doc. # 27). The notice indicates that the mediation will take place remotely via Zoom. As explained in the CMSO, the Court does not permit remote mediations: "The Court does not allow mediation by telephone or video conference. Personal attendance is required." (Doc. # 24 at 9). The Court imposes this requirement because it firmly believes that in-person mediations are more productive than video mediations. In-person mediations are appropriate absent truly exigent circumstances, such as serious health concerns of the parties. Accordingly, the parties are directed to amend the notice to schedule an in-person mediation conference. Lead Counsel shall file the amended notice informing the Court as to the date, time, and location of mediation by August 11, 2026. Signed by Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington on 8/4/2026. (ATI)
