ORDER Re: Defendant's Motion for Summary Judgment. ORDERED as follows: 1. That Defendant International Paper Company's Motion for Summary Judgment # 59 , filed March 23, 2026, is granted in part and denied in part, as follows: a. That the motion is granted as to the claims against IP under the Premises Liability Act and for negligence per se; negligent hiring, supervision, training, and/or retention; and vicarious liability; b. That the motion further is granted as to all claims against the John Doe defendants; and c. That in all other respects the motion is denied; 2. At the time judgment enters, judgment with prejudice shall enter as follows: a. On behalf of defendant, International Paper Company, against plaintiff, Vernon McKim, as to the claims under the Premises Liability Act and for negligence per se; negligent hiring, supervision, training, and/or retention; and vicarious liability; and b.
