CLERK'S JUDGMENT. Approved by Judge Stephen P. McGlynn on 3/4/2026. (trf)
Order on Motion to Dismiss
ORDER: This matter is before the Court for purposes of docket management. On January 15, 2026, this Court permitted Attorneys Kristina D. Cooksey and Michelle M. Rich to withdraw as counsel of record for Plaintiff Kathleen Richter. (Doc. 22). Plaintiff Richter was ordered to provide an address at which she and/or her new counsel may receive service of documents related to the case no later than February 5, 2026. (Id.). She failed to do so. On February 10, 2026, this Court ordered Plaintiff Richter to show cause why this case should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute and failure to follow this Court's orders. (Doc. 24 (citing Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b); James v. McDonald's Corp., 417 F.3d 672, 681 (7th Cir. 2005); Ladien v. Astrachan, 128 F.3d 1051 (7th Cir. 1997); Lucien v. Breweur, 9 F.3d 26, 29 (7th Cir. 1993))). Plaintiff Richter did not file a response. Therefore, Defendant Walmart's 23 Motion to Dismiss is GRANTED. This case is hereby DISMISSED with prejudice. The Clerk of Court is DIRECTED to close this case on the Court's docket. Signed by Judge Stephen P. McGlynn on 3/4/2026. (trf) THIS TEXT ENTRY IS AN ORDER OF THE COURT. NO FURTHER DOCUMENTATION WILL BE MAILED.
