Minute Order Order on Motion for Miscellaneous Relief
MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Brenda Weksler on 6/23/2026. Before the Court is Plaintiff Maria Tsatas's request to serve as coordinating lead plaintiff and for special rules governing the joinder of any motions she may file. ECF. No. 399. No response is necessary for the Court to rule on this request. Plaintiffs motion at ECF No. 399 is DENIED. A "joinder" is a short filing stating that a party joins in and adopts another party's motion or arguments. There is no need for Ms. Tsatas to first "circulate" her motion for review to all other plaintiffs before she files it. Thus, Ms. Tsatas may file her motions, and any plaintiffs wishing to join will need to stay abreast of the docket and join as they deem appropriate. In turn, the Court will not name her lead plaintiff, irrespective of whether there is an agreement between the remaining plaintiffs to that effect.
