MINUTE entry before the Honorable John F. Kness: As noted in the order 22 dated 10/2/2024, the Court granted Plaintiffs motion 17 for leave to file a third amended complaint. That amended pleading 21 abandons Plaintiffs federal law-based claim, which formed the basis of Defendants removal of the case from state to federal court. Defendant has since filed a statement 23 noting that it is withdrawing its request for the Court to retain jurisdiction over the remaining state-law claims under 28 U.S.C. § 1367. Accordingly, the Court relinquishes jurisdiction and orders that the case be remanded forthwith to the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. Enter separate final judgment order without prejudice. Defendants motion to dismiss 12 is dismissed as moot. Civil case terminated on the docket of the Northern District of Illinois only.
