Order
ORDER. Per the parties’ status report at ECF No. 41, the Court adjusts the following discovery deadlines in this matter:
Discovery must be completed (not propounded) on or before January 15, 2027. Party depositions in this matter must be conducted on or before October 30, 2026. Expert witness deadlines imposed in the Scheduling Order at ECF No. 33 remain in effect.
The parties shall take the first step to initiate any dispositive motion practice, including requesting a pre-filing conference for a motion for judgment on the pleadings or summary judgment, according to the Honorable Vernon D. Oliver’s Pretrial Preferences by January 22, 2027. See https://www.ctd.uscourts.gov/content/vernon-d-oliver for more information.
Also on or before January 22, 2027, the parties shall file a joint status report, certifying that discovery is complete and addressing the following: (1) whether the parties consent to the jurisdiction of a Magistrate Judge for all purposes, including trial; (2) the parties’ estimate of the length of the trial; and (3) a representation that the parties have conferred with each other, and that counsel for any represented parties have conferred with their clients, on the question of whether to seek referral for a settlement conference.
Further, within seven days of the decision on the motion for summary judgment in the Underlying Action, the parties shall apprise the Court of said decision via a joint status report on this docket, along with the status of discovery in this matter.
Signed by Judge Vernon D. Oliver on 6/10/2026. (JD2)
