Rule 16 Conference
MINUTES of Proceedings: Rule 16 Conference held before Magistrate Judge Stacie F. Beckerman by telephone on 6/23/2026. ORDER SETTING the following case management schedule: Fact discovery motions to be filed by 9/25/2026. Fact Discovery is to be completed by 10/23/2026. Dispositive Motions are due by 12/1/2026. Joint Alternate Dispute Resolution Report due 30 days after rulings on dispositive motions; or, if no motions are filed, 30 days after the dispositive motions deadline. Damages expert discovery deadlines will be set after resolution of dispositive motions. If no dispositive motions are filed, initial expert disclosures will be due three weeks after the dispositive motions deadline; rebuttal expert disclosures will be due six weeks after the deadline; expert discovery will close nine weeks after the deadline, and expert discovery motions will be due 10 weeks after the deadline. The Court will contact the parties with potential dates for trial in 2027. ORDER: Striking Pretrial Order deadline. The Court advises the parties that they must schedule a telephone conference with Judge Beckerman before filing any discovery motion. If a discovery dispute arises, the party requesting relief should e-mail a summary of the dispute to SBpropdoc@ord.uscourts.gov. Sharia Mayfield present as counsel for plaintiff. Naomi D. Order on Motion for Extension of Discovery & PTO Deadlines
ORDER: Plaintiff's Second Motion for Extension of Discovery & PTO Deadlines (ECF No. 45 ). The Court grants a limited reopening of discovery, to be completed by July 27, 2026, for the following purposes only: (1) the organizational deposition of GP Toledo; (2) the postponed deposition of James Allcock; (3) the postponed deposition of Mark Carden; (4) the deposition of Matt McCandless; and (5) the deposition of Greg Bosch. Dispositive Motions shall be filed no later than August 26, 2026. Ordered by Judge Michael J. McShane. (cp)
