Order on Expedited Motion
PAPERLESS ORDER granting in part Consented Expedited Motion to Continue Mediation and Stay Proceedings for Sixty Days 62 and setting deadline for joint stipulation or status report. The Consented Motion, construed in part as a motion to reconsider the Court's Order Following Communication to Chambers [ECF No. 61], is granted in part as follows. The Court's Order Scheduling Mediation 39 is hereby vacated, thus relieving the parties from attending mediation tomorrow. However, the parties shall jointly file a joint notice of mediation on or before December 2, 2026, with a completion date for mediation no later than February 4, 2027. The joint notice of mediation, as always, must fully comply with the Court's mediation requirements 32 . Further, the parties' additional request for a temporary stay of all deadlines is denied; all deadlines remain in effect per the Scheduling Order 32 except as modified herein and will not be extended to account for settlement-related efforts. As a final matter, on or before November 17, 2026, the parties shall file either (1) a stipulation of dismissal signed by all parties that have appeared in this action, see Fed. R. Civ. P. 41, or (2) a joint status report advising of the status of the case. Signed by Judge Aileen M. Cannon on 10/14/2026. (nfs)
