In her Amended Complaint [ECF No. 8], Plaintiff asserts sexual assault, negligence, and false imprisonment claims stemming from her alleged assault while aboard the Carnival Vista in July 2025. Based on the highly sensitive nature of the allegations and the apparent risk of future psychological or emotional harm, Plaintiff moves for leave to proceed under a pseudonym. After careful consideration of all applicable factors, the Court GRANTS Plaintiff's request. Plaintiff temporarily may proceed under the fictitious name, Jane Doe. However, once Defendants have appeared in this action, Defendants shall have fourteen (14) days to file any response in opposition to the requested relief.
