MINUTE entry before the Honorable Karyn L Bass Ehler. The Court has reviewed the joint status report 218 . The parties did not provide a date certain for the completion of document production from the Department of Defense ("DoD") as requested by the Court. Instead, the parties propose that Jason Snyder, Associate General Counsel, Defense Human Resources Activity, is available to attend the status hearing scheduled on 7/7/26 by telephone to answer questions about the DoD's production of documents. The Court requests that Mr. Snyder attend the status hearing and will discuss with him setting a date certain for the DoD to complete its production from the August 2024 subpoena. The parties also provided a proposed expert discovery schedule which the Court adopts as follows: (1) Plaintiff's initial Rule 26(a)(2) expert disclosures 60 days after DoD completes its production; (2) Defendants' initial Rule 26(a)(2) expert disclosures and rebuttal to Plaintiff's initial disclosures 60 days after Plaintiff's initial disclosures; (3) Plaintiff's reply expert report and rebuttal to Defendants' initial disclosures, if any, 30 days after Defendants' initial disclosures and rebuttal; (4) Defendants' reply expert report, if any, 30 days after Plaintiff's rebuttal; and (5) completion of all expert discovery, including all expert depositions, 45 days after Plaintiff's reply expert report or Defendants' reply expert report, if one is filed. When the DoD's production is complete, the parties shall file a joint status report within seven days with specific dates for the expert discovery schedule, consistent with the schedule outlined in the joint status report 218 and adopted by this Order. The status hearing set for 7/7/26 at 10:15 a.m. shall proceed as scheduled and is converted to a telephone hearing. The call-in number is 1-650-479-3207 and enter access code 2317 061 5796. Persons granted remote access to proceedings are reminded of the general prohibition against photographing, recording, and rebroadcasting of court proceedings. Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court-issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the Court. Mailed notice. (jxm) (Entered: 07/01/2026)
