Minute Order
ORDER - On June 17, 2026, Defendants first appeared in this case by filing a motion to dismiss. (ECF No. 5 .) The parties were therefore required, pursuant to Local Rule 26-1(a), to file their proposed discovery plan and scheduling order on or before Monday, August 3, 2026. See also PlayUp, Inc. v Mintas, 344 F.R.D. 429, 434 n. 7 (D. Nev. 2023) ("Well-settled law establishes that the pendency of a motion to dismiss does not act to automatically stay discovery.") To date, the parties have failed to comply. The Court therefore grants the parties a sua sponte extension up to and including Friday, August 21, 2026, to file their stipulated discovery plan and scheduling order. Failure to comply with this order may result in sanctions. IT IS SO ORDERED. Signed by Magistrate Judge Carla Baldwin on 8/6/2026.
