   ORDER: Defendants' letter motion, ECF 565 , for leave to file documents under seal is granted. The Court gives leave to file the attachments to the motion under seal or redacted, as requested by the parties, as the proposed redactions relate to Plaintiff's sensitive medical and/or confidential identifying information, which this Court has previously allowed to be sealed. Because "discovery-related disputes are not covered by the qualified right of access" that otherwise attaches to judicial documents, the Court finds that the material proposed to be sealed is not subject to a presumption of public disclosure at this stage. United States v. Smith, 985 F. Supp. 2d 506, 520 (S.D.N.Y. 2013); see id. at 519-20 (collecting cases discussing the principle that documents filed in support of discovery-related motions are not subject to this presumption); see also Winfield v. City of New York, No. 15-CV-5236 (LTS) (KHP), 2017 WL 2880556, at *4 (S.D.N.Y. July 5, 2017), objections overruled, 2017 WL 5054727 (S.D.N.Y. Nov. 2, 2017); cf. United States v. Amodeo, 44 F.3d 141, 145 (2d Cir. 1995) (observing that "the mere filing of a paper or document with the court is insufficient to render that paper a judicial document subject to the right of public access").

   By 10/7/2026, the parties are directed file a public, redacted version of the documents filed in connection with the parties' letter motion as separate docket entries. Counsel are also reminded to publicly file the motion to seal, but need not docket it using the ECF event associated with filing a new motion. The parties need not re-file the sealed documents filed in conjunction with their motion to seal; these files will remain sealed on the docket. To aid the parties and the Court, when filing the approved unsealed, redacted versions, the parties are directed to make clear in the docket text which publicly filed, redacted document relates to which already filed sealed document, and vice-versa, and the original ECF Number for the document when it was first filed.
