At the Status Conference, counsel for Plaintiffs in Edmond E. Mietzner et al v. Chiquita Canyon, LLC et al, Case No. 2:25-cv-06061-MEMF-MAR, which has now been consolidated with the lead case, In re Chiquita Canyon Landfill Litigation, Case No. 2:23-cv-08380-MEMF-MAR, raised an objection to the Court's impending Order granting the Plaintiffs and Chiquita Defendants' Stipulation regarding the Co-Leadership Structure for Plaintiffs' Counsel. Dkt. No. 264. The Objection is attached as Exhibit A to this Order. (bm)

The Court invites counsel to present oral arguments. The Court advised the parties that the Court has approved the Stipulation regarding Plaintiff's Co-Leadership Structure, Dkt. No. 264, and will confirm that it is filed on the docket. Counsel Mietzner was ordered to meet and confer with Plaintiffs' Co-Lead Counsel concerning the objection and file a Joint Status Report by October 1, 2026 regarding any disputes that remain. The Court set a deadline of November 13, 2026, for the parties to file a Joint Status Report on the progress of the case; the Joint Status Report shall identify any disputes that require a status conference.
