MINUTE entry before the Honorable Keri L. Holleb Hotaling: The parties in this case have consented to Judge Holleb Hotaling for all purposes in this action. The Court adopts the following deadlines proposed by the parties [Dkt. 14]: The parties shall exchange Rule 26(a)(1) disclosures on or before 6/16/2026; the FIRM fact discovery deadline for all fact discovery is 1/29/2027. The Court does not expect to extend this firm fact discovery deadline and in no case will do so without written motion detailing exceptionally good cause. The Court expects the parties to manage their discovery obligations accordingly to meet their fact discovery deadline. The Court will not set an expert discovery schedule until it is clear the fact discovery deadline will be met. The parties are reminded to promptly bring any discovery motions before the Court, including motions to enforce subpoenas or motions for protective orders. The Court also sets the Rule 16(b) deadline to seek to amend pleadings/add additional parties as 9/18/2026. The parties' joint status report is silent on whether they have engaged in any settlement discussions. The Court hereby sets a telephonic status hearing on 7/15/2026 at 10:00 AM. Towards that end, by the parties' telephonic status conference Plaintiff should be ready to make a settlement demand on Defendant if she has not already done so; if Plaintiff has issued such demand, Defendant should be prepared to detail the date such demand was made and the date Defendant responded or would be prepared to respond. The call in information is 855-244-8681, and the participant access code is 2315 0911 461#.
