Order
ORDER: Before the Court is the 1 Notice of Removal, filed by Albertsons Companies, Inc. ("Albertsons"), and Julio Ojeda-Dartagna ("Ojeda-Dartagna") (collectively "Defendants"). Though there is a pending 8 Motion to Remand, the Court sua sponte raises the issue of subject matter jurisdiction to address whether the requisite amount in controversy ("AIC") has been established. The 1 Notice of Removal does not adequately establish AIC. IT IS ORDERED that, by no later than September 4, 2026, if Defendants Albertsons and Ojeda-Dartagna can provide adequate additional support, they shall submit a supplemental memorandum in support of amount in controversy. Alternatively, Defendants shall file a motion to withdraw the Notice of Removal, if Defendants cannot provideadditional evidence to support a finding of the requisite amount in controversy. Signed by Magistrate Judge Erin Wilder-Doomes on 8/21/2026. (BLR)
