MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS of the Honorable Magistrate Judge Elayna J. Youchah on 9/14/2026.
The Court has before it the Motion to Substitute Real Party in Interest (ECF No. 480 ), which is opposed Robert "Sonny" Wood, II and Access Medical in which Schnitzer Johnson & Watson, Chtd. join. ECF Nos. 483 , 484 . The Court's review of the motion, opposition, and joinder reveal that the parties may be able to reach agreement regarding how this matter should proceed, including the substitution requested and retention of all rights regarding attorney liens by the opposing parties, such that the issue of distribution of funds held by the Court may proceed efficiently.
Accordingly, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that all parties who filed and opposed the pending Motion to Substitute must meet and confer either in person or by videoconference (neither written exchanges nor telephonic meetings will suffice) to discuss a resolution of the instant Motion that may be presented to the Court in a stipulation.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the meet and confer must take place no later than September 28, 2026.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that if no stipulation is filed on or before October 7, 2026, a joint status report by all interested parties must be filed no later than October 9, 2026 explaining the status of discussions and whether the Court may anticipate a stipulation will be filed by a date certain identified in the report.
