Status Conference
Electronic Clerk's Notes for proceedings held before District Judge Margaret R. Guzman: Status Conference held on 8/19/2026. Case is called. Court and counsel meet by videoconference to discuss status of the case. The Court notes, and parties concede, that Courtemanche (4:24-cv-40030-MRG), Ford (4:26-cv-13211-MRG), and Reyes (4:26-cv-13212-MRG) are related. While noting that Courtemanche is pleaded as a class action, the Court consolidates the three aforementioned cases into Courtemanche for case management purposes.
Plaintiffs' counsel in Reyes and Ford agrees to stipulate to voluntary dismissal of the same claims that were dismissed in the motion to dismiss order in Courtemanche [ECF No. 72], subject to a reservation of objections for appeal. Having cleared the motion to dismiss phase, the parties agree that the next step in the case is class certification. The Court orders the parties to file a joint proposed scheduling order for the three cases going forward.
