MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER GRANTING PLAINTIFF'S EX PARTE APPLICATION FOR CONTINUANCE by Judge Cynthia Valenzuela: On 6/29/2026, Plaintiff Christopher Francis filed an Ex Parte Application for Continuance of Hearing and Extension of Time 135 . In the Application, Plaintiff stated that he is incarcerated, and that his counsel has been unable to effectively continue litigation in this matter due to his severe medical condition. Plaintiff therefore requests that the Court continue the hearing on the Order to Show Cause 134 . In light of the Application and Defendant's response, the Court hereby STAYS the action. Plaintiff shall file status reports every 30 days beginning on 9/30/2026, regarding his current counsel's ability to return to the case, and/or his efforts to obtain new counsel.
