Discovery Hearing
MINUTES OF Status Conference held before Magistrate Judge Angela C. C. Viramontes: Case called. Attorney Stephen Daner appeared on behalf of Plaintiffs, and attorney David Hall appeared on behalf of Defendants. Defendants' IT personnel and person most knowledgeable about discovery did not appear as ordered. The hearing was held at 9:30 a.m. on August 24, 2026, in Courtroom Three of the Riverside Courthouse. The Court conferred with the parties regarding the outstanding ESI documents and other discovery the County has not produce. After further conference, the Court ordered each party to file a one-page brief on the CANRA issue as it relates to this Courts prior order. In addition, the parties shall meet and confer today to discuss all other outstanding discovery document issues and come to an agreement on when the documents will be produced. To the extent there are any requests not resolved, Plaintiff may file a motion to compel.
