   TEXT ORDER-- A final pretrial conference is scheduled before Magistrate Judge Stacey D. Adams on November 4, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. IN PERSON at the MLK Building and U.S. Courthouse, 50 Walnut Street, Courtroom 2C, Newark, NJ 07101. Lead trial counsel and all parties are required to appear. A person(s) with full settlement authority who is authorized to act on behalf of each Borough government defendants - inclusive of the Borough, the Mayor, the Administrator and all Council Persons - shall appear IN PERSON along with Defense counsel. In addition, if an insurance carrier is involved, then an adjustor with full settlement authority must attend (in addition to the Borough representative). Counsel for the parties shall meet and confer and, no later than 14 days before the conference, submit a proposed final pretrial order using the DNJ's new uniform final pretrial order which can be accessed at UniformFinalPretrialOrder.pdf. Should the parties desire to go to mediation, they shall promptly advise the Court via letter of the date of mediation and the Court will consider staying the deadline for submission of the final pretrial order until after mediation.
