ORDER JOINING QIN CHAPTER 7 TRUSTEE AS PLAINTIFF granting 205 Motion for Joinder. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT: 1. The Motion is granted. 2. The Clerk of the Court is directed to modify the caption of this action to read: and further set forth in th is Order. 3. The Parties shall file with the Court a status report on any electronic data discovery issues with the first report to be filed within ten (10) days of the Plaintiffs permitted to access such data, with the next status report to be file d within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of their review of that electronic data, but in no event later than ninety (90) days after the entry of this Order. 4. The Trustee shall continue to file bi-yearly reports on the status of the Defendant Hui Qin chapter 7 bankruptcy case, with the next status report due on or before January 15, 2027. 5. This Order is issued without prejudice to the Parties seeking further, additional, or different relief as appropriate, including further equitable or le gal relief. 6. The Court's Preliminary Injunction remains in full force and effect. 7. This Order shall become immediately effective upon its entry. 8. Order on Motion to Dismiss for Failure to State a Claim
ORDER granting in part and denying in part 55 Motion to Dismiss: For the reasons discussed in the attached Memorandum and Order, Defendants Jia Lin Pan and KGL Real Estate LLC's 55 motion to dismiss is granted in part and denied in part, and Plaintiffs' claims against them are dismissed. Plaintiffs are granted leave to move to file an amended complaint by August 21, 2026. Should they choose to move to file an amended complaint, they must do so in conformance with this Court's Individual Practices and Rules and this District's Local Civil Rule 15.1. Defendants may file opposition by September 18, 2026, and Plaintiffs may file a reply, if any, by October 2, 2026. Ordered by Judge Orelia E. Merchant on 7/27/2026. (MMP)
