Order on Motion for Extension of Time to Set/Reset Deadlines
MINUTE ORDER granting in part and denying in part the 25 Motion for Extension of Time nunc pro tunc. The Defendants' motion, which was filed after 5pm on the day the Defendants' Answer was due, does not comply with the Court's June 10, 2026, Order to "provide a clear timeline" for when a stipulation of dismissal will be filed. Accordingly, the Court ORDERS the Defendants to answer or otherwise respond to the Complaint by August 3, 2026, unless a stipulation of dismissal is filled sooner. No further extensions will be granted. If the Parties do not have an approved settlement by August 3, 2026, the Defendants must answer or otherwise respond to the Complaint by that date. Signed by Judge Sparkle L. Sooknanan on 7/13/2026. (lcal)
