ORDER that on July 16, 2026, the Court held two naturalization ceremonies: one at 11:00 a.m. and one at 1:00 p.m. USCIS presented twenty-six candidates for naturalization and twenty-five were naturalized at the 11:00 a.m. ceremony. USCIS presented no candidates for naturalization at the 1:00 p.m. ceremony. Therefore, no naturalization ceremony could be held on July 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Eleven naturalization ceremonies remain on the Courts 2026 calendar. The Court is available and will perform all remaining 2026 naturalization ceremonies. No ceremony will be cancelled in advance. SEE ORDER FOR DETAILS. Copies distributed as directed in the order. ORDER. In the Fall of 2025, at the request of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and based on its projected number of candidates for citizenship, the Court scheduled various naturalization ceremonies on its public calendar for 2026. Two ceremonies were scheduled for July 16, 2026, one at 11:00 A.M. and another at 1:00 P.M. Following the 11:00 A.M. ceremony on July 16, 2026, USCIS officials confirmed on the record that they would not be presenting any candidates for naturalization at the 1:00 P.M. ceremony. Therefore, the Court remained available and willing to conduct the 1:00 P.M. naturalization ceremony, but USCIS did not present any new candidates. Signed by Magistrate Judge Summer L. Speight on 7/16/2026. (copy sent to C-MHL, Clerk & USCIS) (nbrow)
