MINUTES (Text Only) for FINAL PRETRIAL CONFERENCE before Senior District Judge John A. Mendez held on 10/09/2026: Plaintiff's counsel, Daniel Kruid, present. Defense counsel, Brodie Butland and Alyson Berg, both present. The Court CONFIRMED the Bench Trial to commence on Monday, 11/23/2026, at 9:00 AM, in Courtroom 6 (JAM), 14th Floor, before Senior District Judge John A. Mendez. The parties estimate an approximate four (4) to five (5) days for trial. There will be no remote testimony. The Court and counsel discussed the trial schedule. Motions in limine ("MIL") shall be e-filed separately (i.e.: MIL No. 1; MIL No. 2, etc.). No reply briefs may be filed. Counsel shall contact the Courtroom Deputy for District Judge John A. Mendez (via e-mail) on or before Friday, 11/13/2026, to confirm the trial date and the status of trial. The parties are also required to notify the Courtroom Deputy (via e-mail) on or before Monday, 11/02/2026, if they wish to reserve and arrange for orientation with all parties on the court's mobile audio/visual equipment for presentation of evidence. There will be one date and time for such orientation. Hard copies of exhibit binders, an original and one (1) copy of the exhibits (one (1) for the witness stand and one (1) for the Court) shall be hand delivered to the Courtroom Deputy on or before the morning of trial, at 08:30 AM.
