Deutsche, Firm Get More Time To Settle £8M Lease Dispute

Law360, London (December 19, 2018, 8:57 PM GMT) -- A London judge has again stayed Deutsche Bank AG’s £8.3 million professional negligence claim against law firm Blake Morgan LLP so they can keep trying to settle their argument about a lease agreement outside of court.

Master Nigel Price of London’s High Court stayed proceedings until March 15 after both sides agreed to pursue alternative dispute resolution, according to an order dated Dec. 14. Deutsche Bank sued Blake Morgan in September 2017 over legal advice it gave about a commercial lease on a property in Middlesex, a county in southeastern England.
