Waste Co.'s Fire Insurance Trial Paused To Calculate Award

Law360, London (February 2, 2019, 12:46 AM GMT) -- A London judge has stayed a legal dispute over the amount an insurance company must pay in compensation to a recycling company over damage caused by a fire at the firm's plant in order to allow the two sides to try and agree on a figure outside of court.

High Court Judge Finola O'Farrell signed a court order Jan. 30 giving Wheeldon Brothers Waste Ltd. and Millennium Insurance Company Ltd. until the end of March to thrash out a deal after the insurer had been found liable in a judgment last year.
