Developer Must Repay Zurich Insurance For Home Repairs

Law360, London (February 25, 2019, 1:07 PM GMT) -- A property developer must pay back Zurich Insurance PLC for picking up the tab on home repairs at a new-build project in England after a judge in London ruled on Monday that the bill had been submitted on time. 

Judge Juliet May said at the High Court that the Swiss insurer's claim for reimbursement against Nightscene Ltd. — parent company of the developer, the Birmingham Property Developments Ltd. — fell within the six-year statute of limitations on contractual claims.
