Harvard University Names New General Counsel

Law360 (March 15, 2019, 3:49 PM EDT) -- Harvard University announced Friday that it will be promoting its deputy general counsel to vice president and general counsel, a move that comes after the university’s current top attorney announced he will be leaving to take over as president of a Pennsylvania college.

Diane E. Lopez, who has worked in Harvard's Office of the General Counsel since 1994, will take over in June for Robert Iuliano, who will be leaving to take a job as head of Gettysburg College after 16 years in the general counsel job.
