Brits Face Extradition To Sweden Over Alleged Pension Fraud

Law360, London (April 3, 2019, 7:15 PM BST) -- A London High Court Judge rejected attempts by three individuals to dodge extradition to Sweden over their alleged involvement in a multimillion-dollar pension fraud on Tuesday, refusing them permission to appeal a European arrest warrant issued by the Swedish Economic Crime Authority.

British nationals Anthony Farrell and Christopher Thomas, along with a third individual, Afram Gergeo, face extradition to Sweden under arrest warrants issued by Swedish prosecutors in connection with an alleged 840 million Swedish kroner ($90.6 million) pension fund fraud involving Falcon Funds, a pension fund that was once run from Malta.
