UK OKs Plans To Centralize Pension Data Onto Dashboards

Law360, London (April 4, 2019, 8:28 PM BST) -- The U.K. government on Thursday approved plans to build a clearinghouse pulling together workers' pensions onto a single platform, with industry groups cheering the move for dragging pensions "out of the digital Stone Age."

The Department for Work and Pensions released plans for a new pensions dashboard enabling people to keep track of their retirement savings through a single platform. Currently, workers who've changed careers and had more than one employer can only plan for old age by logging into separate websites.
