Fraudster Jailed For Multiple Fake Travel Insurance Claims

Law360, London (April 29, 2019, 6:24 PM BST) -- A fraudster who lied about being ill or injured to make fake travel claims to several different insurers for the same family holiday has been sentenced to one year and four months in jail, police in London said Monday.

Richard Agyemang, 36, was found guilty of four counts of fraud by false representation at Inner London Crown Court on April 26 following a five-day trial, City of London police said.
