Insurance Business Launches With Claims Advocacy Service

Law360, London (November 25, 2019, 12:19 PM GMT) -- Managing general agent Qlaims launched a claims service on Monday for large commercial property losses, a move likely to be seen as a lifeline for small businesses.

Qlaims will offer its service to brokers via Acturis, an insurance software platform, for commercial property claims of more than £5,000 ($6,400). Customers of those brokers will be given access to services including the use of a drone to assess loss and an online system for tracking the progress of claims.
