Deutsche Bank, Blake Morgan Settle £8M Lease Advice Suit
Law360, London (January 7, 2020, 4:28 PM GMT) -- Deutsche Bank AG has inked a settlement to bring to an end its £8.3 million ($10.9 million) professional negligence lawsuit against Blake Morgan LLP over failed legal advice on a decades-long commercial lease.
The lender and the law firm reached a confidential settlement in December that closes a long-running dispute over a property in southeast England, according to a High Court order issued Monday. The case will be stayed, although either side can apply to the court for permission to enforce the terms of the settlement.
