Key Feature Remains Untested Amid Financial List's Success

Law360, London (March 18, 2020, 8:36 PM GMT) -- Four and a half years since its launch, the Financial List has lived up to its promise of putting expert judges on complex cases, but a notable feature remains unused and some challenges still have to be ironed out.

The list — which has been up and running since October 2015 — creates a specialized docket for cases in the financial services sector that meet certain criteria. The suits must either be worth more than £50 million ($63.8 million), require judges to have specialist expert knowledge or raise an important issue for the financial sector.
