Ex-Charles Stanley Stockbroker Sues For Post-Rant Firing

Law360, London (October 13, 2020, 5:03 PM BST) -- An investment manager launched a profanity-laced tirade against senior managers at Charles Stanley just before he was dismissed and escorted out of the building, the wealth manager's human resources chief testified on Tuesday at a £10 million ($13 million) wrongful dismissal trial.

Gino Palmeri is fighting for compensation over the April 2017 incident at trial, claiming his summary termination was a breach of his contract. He alleges that Charles Stanley has used his response to being given an ultimatum over the company's new and worse financial terms as an excuse for firing him.
